The Urdu rendition of “Sesame Street”, “Sim Sim Hamara has got into trouble. USAID launched this program with the collaboration of Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop. This company is owned by the Peerzadas. American aid organization provided $20 million dollars for the project. I am shocked to know that USAID has stopped funding the program when they came to know their money is being misused.
The purpose of this show was to a tolerant and vibrant view of Pakistan for kids.
