Commentary: Conservatives keep grip of Iran parliament in vote

Media reports say that Iran's conservatives will come out as victorious. However, these elections cannot be called free and fair. Many leading reformists were barred from running in the elections to pave the way for conservative's victory.

It is tragic that Iranian Mullahs are repressing their people in the name of Islam and morality. These mullahs have been ruling the country since 1979 and they have failed to improve the lives of Iranians. Young men and women say that their future in the Islamic republic promises only disillusion and despair.

Iranian president had promised in his election campaign that he would improve the lives of poor Iranian people. However, when he came in power, he forgot his promise. I think Iranians are heading for another revolution.
