why has Egypt banned the face veil in schools?

Egypt has banned the face veil in schools due to security reasons. The Education Minister, Reda Hegazy, announced that the new dress code allows students to wear a hair cover that does not obscure their face

The ban is aimed at preventing outsiders from entering schools disguised under the niqab and committing crimes or taking examinations on behalf of other pupils
The niqab ban has stirred strong reactions on social media, with some opposing the ban and others supporting it
The majority of Egyptian women wear the headscarf, but the niqab remains in the minority in this overwhelmingly Muslim country
