The Express Entry system : Canada

 Express Entry is a points-based system that allows skilled workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada. It was introduced in 2015 to make it easier and faster for skilled workers to immigrate to Canada.

To be eligible for Express Entry, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a skilled worker with a valid job offer from a Canadian employer or have enough work experience in Canada.
  • You must have a high level of English or French language proficiency.
  • You must have a valid passport from a country that is eligible for Express Entry.
  • You must meet the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

The CRS is a scoring system that is used to rank candidates in the Express Entry pool. The CRS score is based on a number of factors, including your age, education, work experience, language skills, and ties to Canada.

Once you have submitted your Express Entry profile, you will be placed in the pool. Every two weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invites the highest-ranked candidates to apply for permanent residency.

If you are invited to apply for permanent residency, you will have 60 days to submit your application. Your application will be assessed by IRCC and you will be notified of the outcome of your application within six months.

If your application is approved, you will be granted permanent residency in Canada. You will be able to live, work, and study in Canada permanently.
